Free At Frisbie's

Frisbie’s Dairy Barn is closed for the season! This hidden gem in Providence is a great place to hang out with friends, grab a sweet treat, and relax after a long day of classes. They serve sundaes, ice cream, cake, and anything in between. Some fan favorites are their Blue Devil Cookie Monster, the Heavenly Chocolate, and Cookies N’ Cream. Frisbie’s also serves a variety of toppings so that every scoop can be fully customized.

On Sunday, October 15, Frisbie’s hosted a free ice cream event. This lasted from 2 pm to 6 pm, so anyone who came in between those times had the opportunity to get a free small ice cream. No purchase was necessary, but you did need to be following them on Instagram. Their small Ice cream is about two generous scoops. If you have any allergies (dairy specifically), they have two non-dairy options. Those flavors are Lemon ice and vegan vanilla. The vegan vanilla was creamy and reminded me of marshmallow fluff. In addition to toppings, everyone has the choice to get their ice cream in a waffle or cake cone. Although the Providence location (located in the Arcade at 65 Weybosset St) is closed for the season, their other locations, such as the North Attleboro location, will remain open for guests.
