Spring break is only a week away, and there is no cost to stay at JWU over spring break. With the limited amount of resources at the school during spring break, you may be wondering, “What can I do if I don’t leave the school?” Well, look no further; I will try to help you find some things to do.
1. Roger Williams Zoo
The Roger Williams Zoo is always a fun time if you love a nice walk and animals. The Zoo is only $21 for adults and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. You can see up to 67 different species of animals throughout eight exhibits.
2. The Providence Place Mall
The mall may seem like an obvious choice, but it is not just the stores that you can check out over break. You can go into Dave and Busters with friends, spend about $20, and have hours of fun. Maybe arcades aren’t your favorite thing, and maybe you prefer something more puzzling. Well, if that is the case, Level 99 has just opened up recently in the mall. For about $30 for two hours per person, you can experience any of their 50 puzzles.
3. Far Shot Axe & Knife Bar
With limited resources such as dining, you may want to go out with friends, get some food, and have fun. Well, the new Far Shot Axe/Knife Bar has opened recently, and as you can infer, this is an axe-throwing and knife-throwing bar. You can go and enjoy some drinks, if you’re of age, and throw some sharp weapons. You can pay about $25 per person for an hour to throw axes and an extra $5 for the knives.
