Spring Break is a time to relax after weeks of studying.Whether you are going home or going somewhere sunny, there is always time to shop for your plans. Shopping for spring break can be tricky, especially for traveling. It's normal to want a new wardrobe for vacation, but what's not ok is to buy only for that specific trip and never use that piece of clothing ever again. For that main reason it is easy to go to fast fashion stores. While this list is not forcing someone to stop buying in these places.

Here are the places not to shop:

1.Shein

While shein offers a variety of clothing options and is affordable. It is not the safest. Shein is known for its unethical practices and their bad quality  clothing. It is best to shop in other places that are safer for the environment.

2.Temu

While this app has been popular for quite a while, similar to shein, their prices are quite cheap, but you don't always get what you paid for. Temu is known for its bad delivery services, meaning that it usually does not arrive in time. It is an app that you need to shop with caution. It is best to avoid it, especially if you are shopping last minute for spring break.

3.Forever 21

While this store will forever be iconic, over the years it has become controversial. Over the years it has offered cheap clothing. The brand is known for selling micro-trend clothing. If you want your clothes to last and have simple pieces then this brand is not the best to shop for your spring break.

4.Yesstyle

While it offers a wide variety of products, the brand isn't very reliable when it comes to shipping and quality. Yesstyle is known to have dupes and copying designer pieces.Usually the website will provide a photo of a celebrity and trick people into buying a piece of clothing, only once it arrives it is a completely different outfit and it is of bad quality. The brand is also known for having bad customer service especially if someone is trying to return something, which is why it's best to avoid it.

5.Fashion Nova

Similar to Yesstyle, fashion nova is known for having a vibrant color and having its own unique brand of clothing. Only for it to scam people into buying dupes that later end up looking nothing like the original and that is bad quality. It is another example on why we should shop with caution

6.Cider

While this brand isn't as controversial as many other fast fashion brands, it is still considered very poor for the impact of the environment. It is known for its unsustainable fast fashion idea, because they are known for selling micro-trend pieces and are quickly creating trends and trying to find a new style. If you're looking for something timeless then this website is not the best for you.

While all these brands are cheap and easy to buy it is important to think about how buying from them can impact the environment. Shopping ethically is the next step for fashion and it is important to consider it next you are shopping. Ways to reduce fast fashion is by thrifting or supporting local and sustainable brands. But remember not to be over consumed for spring break and shop for articles of clothing that will last in your warbrobe.
