On March 21, from 6p.m. to 8 p.m., JWU Fraternity Theta Delta Chi hosted their 4th annual “TDX Live”. This event was held in the Pepsi Forum in Wales Hall downcity. All the money made for the event was going to its philanthropy, the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation for Autism. Throughout this event, spectators could donate money to make the brothers do things such as eat an onion, eat a stick of butter, smash an egg, wax a brother, pie a brother, arm wrestle a brother, eat spicy ramen, twerk, and pop a mystery balloon on one of the brothers.
The event in total had a goal of $1,000 in donations, and broke their goal by making about $1,300! The total amount of challenges sold were as follows: 4 sticks of butter, 9 onions, 4 brothers twerk, 5 balloons popped, 4 brothers waxed, 1 spicy ramen, 1 arm wrestle, 12 pies, and all 72 eggs!
With the event coming to a close, all the brothers seemed to be happy with the turnout of the event. Hopefully, the next TDX Live will have an even greater turnout and challenges!
