1 potato, cleaned and dried
Butter
Sour cream
Cheese
Green onions
Pre-cooked or microwavable bacon
Here’s what to do:
Stab potato all over with a fork. Wrap clean potato in a wet paper towel and microwave for 4 mins on high. Flip potato and microwave 4 more mins. Remove potato from microwave and place on a plate. Slice potato open and add butter and other toppings. Enjoy!

2. Restaurant Quality Ramen
Dreaming of something mukbang-worthy? Slurp up this steamyramen, putting your Cup O’ Noodles on the shelf to shame.
Here’s what you need:
Minced garlic
Green onions
Chili powder
Sesame oil
Water
Ramen noodles
Silken tofu
Egg
Here’s what to do:
Mix spices, onions, oil, and water together in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave until onions are tender, about 2 minutes. Add ramen noodles, tofu, and cracked egg and microwave again for 3-4 minutes. Pro tip: Use a fork to carefully pierce a small hole in the egg yolk before microwaving so the egg doesn’t explode!

3. Oil-Free Potato Chips
Guilt-free snack? Yes, please. Leave the preservatives and unpronounceable ingredients behind and make your own blank canvas potato chips, ready to soak up whatever seasonings your heart desires.
Here’s what you need:
1 potato, cleaned and dried
Salt, to taste
Here’s what to do:
Slice your potato very thin with a knife or mandolin. Soak slices in an ice bath to remove the starch for about 5 mins, and dry slices thoroughly with a paper towel. Lay slices in a single layer on top of a paper towel lined plate, and sprinkle with salt. Microwave for 5 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dip!

4. Omelet in a Bowl
Running early to class for once? Fuel your morning by spendingthose extra 5 minutes whipping up this one bowl hearty omelet. With about 6g of protein per egg, customize the size of your omelet to fit into your goals!
Here’s what you need:
Egg(s)
Seasonings (salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, etc.)
Omelet mix-ins (cubed ham, shredded cheese, green onions, etc.)
Here’s what to do:
Mix all ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30-45 second until half-cooked. Remove and mix again, then microwave again for 30-45 seconds. Mix again to break up into scrambles and enjoy straight from the bowl or on top of avocado toast!

5. Chocolate Cake
Celebrating a dorm birthday? Need a decedent dessert to share on Valentine’s Day? There’s no gift more heartfelt than baking a cake, and this dorm-friendly microwave version makes said heartfelt gift so much more accessible.
Here’s what you need:
2/3 c flour
½ c sugar
¼ c cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 c melted butter
1 ½ c water
For ganache icing:
½ c chocolate chips
½ c heavy cream
Here’s what to do:
Whisk dry ingredients together. Add wet ingredients and whisk again. Line a microwave safe pan, bowl, or dish with parchment paper or coat with nonstick spray and flour. Pour in batter and microwave for 4-6 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove and let cool. Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream together in a microwave safe bowl. Pour over the cooled cake and spread into an even layer. Grab a fork and enjoy!
